Greetings, all - It was nice to hear from a few of you these past few weeks. It seems like we bond on a daily basis all year long and then summer is pretty quiet, particularly this one. Since this is the last year (technically) of the Sweet Grass Project grant, things are kind of winding down for most of you.
On that note, the Sweet Grass grant will pay for your tuition and fees for this summer semester IF you are in good standing with the program. For some of you, if you're repeating a class, I'll have to see if you're meeting the other criteria (done with PPST, etc.).
For those of you working on your PPST Math, remember Lisa Cantlon has been contracted this summer to assist you with increasing your levels of proficiency in Math. If this means YOU, make sure you're meeting with her regularly. She works Monday through Thursdays during the summer semester.
Also, as you know, you cannot student teach until you have met all of the program criteria (PPST, dispositions, portfolio, GPA, etc). Keep that in mind and plan your time wisely!
And on a positive note, enjoy these beautiful days of summer! I'm having to really draw on my inner whatever to get my homework done, too, as there certainly are distractions out there! Talk to you all soon!
