As you'll notice, on the left hand side of this blog, I've added an "Upcoming Events" gadget to announce opportunities for you to participate in. Part of this is to help me keep track of things as they are happening and part of it is to have a record of dates!
On March 25-26, the Missouri Valley Trauma Symposium is featuring Dr. Bruce Perry and Mr. David Conrad. March 25th is with Dr. Perry and March 26th, til noon, is with Mr. Conrad.
Dr. Perry's session is "Therapeutic Strategies for Working with Traumatized Children: Applications for Home, School, & Clinical Work". Mr. Conrad's session is "The Cost of Caring; Second Traumatic Stress".
If you are interested in attending one or both days, please let me know before 5 PM Wednesday, Jan. 20. Dr. Perry is very popular and sells out every time he is here so we need to get the paperwork done if you plan to attend. Leah Hamann and Rhonda Breuer are attending both days. I'm attending on the 25th. The Sweet Grass Project grant will pay for your registration.
