Jenn just texted me and asked about "Sweet Grass participants" getting Pell so I'm thinking some of you are wondering.....
If you already have an AAS degree from UTTC, AND because the majority of your summer credits are through Sinte Gleska, Sinte Gleska will be processing your Pell. They take your fees out of it ($25 per credit) then send the rest to UTTC. If you didn't get your Pell yet, it probably hasn't been processed. So, if you did not get your Pell reimbursement, you will be.
Also, you will most likely get ALL of it back. UTTC takes your tuition, books and fees out of your higher ed, Sweet Grass award, etc. then gives you the rest as a refund. If Pell is not listed on your refund, it is still coming and you will get all of it given directly to you.
If you want to find out when Sinte is sending it, you can call Midas Gunhammer at (605) 856-8100 and ask him about it. He's in the Sinte Financial Aid office. Remember they are an hour behind us (Mountain Time).
