Lakota Language Class

Reminder: The Lakota Language class begins this week, Monday, June 7th. It is scheduled to run Monday through Friday - 8:30-4:30 PM daily. The schedule may change based on the discretion of the instructor.

Jody Koch is going to meet you at 8:30 AM in ED 111 and see if you want to move upstairs in the Education Building to Room 220. Room 220 is air conditioned and we want you to be comfortable. Also, the only men's bathroom is on the second floor and we don't want Mr. Whitehat to have to go up and down the stairs to the restroom.

On that note, Albert Whitehat will not be teaching the class. As you know, he is quite elderly and his health is failing. He simply can't commit to traveling the distance from St. Francis, SD, to Bismarck. So, Sylvan Whitehat, Sr., is teaching the class. Sylvan assumed Albert's Lakota Language instructor position at Sinte Gleska University after Albert's retirement so is an experienced language teacher. You will still use Albert's book for this class.

Enjoy!
