What a beautiful morning! Time to post to the blog to keep everybody on track with what's happening this summer!
Next week, as you know, is the Lakota Language class for those of you who have that on your schedule. It will be held in ED 111, the classroom right next to the Library. You will begin at 8:30 AM each day and end about 4:30. Mr. Whitehat might decide to start later or end earlier but he'll let you know the first day of class. There is a book for this class that's available at the UTTC Bookstore.
The following week, 7 of you will be going to Medora to attend a summer institute sponsored by the ND Council of the Arts. It's an infusion of art, history, geography, and so on. You each have a room reserved and the rooms are paid for. All you have to do is give them that confirmation number we emailed you when you check in. They might ask if you have a credit card in case you charge anything to the room - I don't know. If you don't have one, simply tell them that. You will be getting a check on Monday, before you leave, for mileage and meals. Jenn will have these checks for you. Get them early enough so you can get them cashed before you leave town! You can leave Bismarck any time after about noon. Your rooms should be ready to check in by 2 PM if you want to do some sight-seeing. The session begins Tuesday morning at either 8-8:30; you have the info. Have fun!
