Tips for Forwarding Emails

Do you ever get tired of checking numerous email accounts? I do! I have four different email accounts - one for UND grad. school; my UTTC email; an account through my cable TV provider; and the Hotmail account I've had for years. The best way I've found to manage all of my email accounts is to pick one and then forward all of the emails from the other accounts to the one I've selected.

To forward your Hotmail email to a different Hotmail.com, live.com or msn.com or gmail.com account, do the following:

Log into your Hotmail account. Click on “Options” in the top, right hand corner of the screen. You’ll find a drop-down box – Click on “More options”. Under the “Manage Your Account” heading, you’ll see “Forward mail to another email account”. Click on that and follow the directions. Be sure to “Save” when you’re done entering the email address(es) you’re forwarding to.

If you want to forward your uttc.edu student campus email to a different email account, go to the UTTC website home page. Click on “Webmail” on the top gray toolbar. Scroll down to “Webmail Help”. Under the heading “Student Webmail Help Documents”, you’ll see a link – “How to automatically forward messages using Rules”. Follow the directions there.

I'm not familiar with Yahoo but I'm sure there's a way to forward those emails, as well. Good luck and I hope this makes it easier for you to manage your email accounts and save time!
