The SWEET GRASS PROJECT is a teacher personnel preparation program funded by the Office of Special Education (OSEP) in the Dept. of Ed. and administered by United Tribes Technical College in Bismarck, ND. This four-year grant provides professional and educational opportunities for 20 candidates who desire to become competent, caring licensed teachers with Early Childhood Special Education endorsements.

Phil Baird is the Vice President of Academic, Career and Technical Education at UTTC. We are fortunate to have somebody on campus with Phil's expertise in tribal government, education, land issues, history and so on. You will enjoy his presentation!
