Recruiting Future Leaders: Native Nation Rebuilders

The Bush Foundation is seeking applications from enrolled members of tribes in North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota as part of its Native Nation Rebuilders Program.This program will help you  improve your leadership skills and nation-building knowledge, and work in cooperation with elected tribal leaders to move your nation toward realization of your tribe's unique goals. .

The program intends to strengthen leadership skills for leaders in 23 tribal nations. The program was launched in 2010 and has established four cohorts so far.

Over the course of the two-year program, selected participants take part in five trainings led by regional and national experts in nation-rebuilding and issues specific to Indian Country. All of your expenses are paid to participate in the five trainings.

Applicants must be at least 25 years old, an enrolled citizen of one of the 23 nations and currently living in North Dakota, South Dakota or Minnesota. The deadline to apply is Aug. 15, 2013.
